Also read below the reinstatement of Pedro A. Colton-Fontan's case and the dissenting opinion by Judge Hernandez-Denton, vis a vis the reinstatement of Jorge A. Farinacci-Garcia and the dissenting opinions of Associate Justices Rebollo, Corrada del Rio and Efrain Rivera Perez. Finally! the NEW CHIEF JUSTICE !!! Finally, because Sila('Smiley') Calderon pointed him out, as expected years before, now he is the Chief Justice. Born in Santurce, Puerto Rico, the 12 of April 1944. On June 14,1985 appointed by Former Governor Rafael Hernandez-Colon,Popular Democratic Party (PDP), as Associate Judge and since 1988 he has been the 'President' for the Board of Bar Examiners and for the Disciplinary Committee as well. Married Isabel Pico Vidal and they have a son, Federico Rafael."Rafael" , really, as a tribute to Fmr.Gov. Rafael Hernandez-Colon, for having appointing him without any previous experience at all as a court practitioner.
Francisco Rebollo Lopez - Born on August 5, 1939,San Juan, Puerto Rico. Former Governor Carlos Romero Barcelo, New Progressive Party (NPP), appointed him as Supreme Judge on June 1982. Married Elena Cancio Bello.
Retired: Baltazar Corrada del Rio- Born in Morovis the 10 of April 1935. Former mayor in the City of San Juan. He had a devastated defeat running as a candidate for Governor. Former Governor Pedro A. Rosello-Gonzalez had to appoint him as Supreme Judge on July 15,1995,in payment of his efforts for the New Progessive Party(NPP).Married Beatriz Betances and they have four children: Ana Isabel, Francisco Javier, Juan Carlos and Jose B. His vacancy has not been occupied yet. Wonder why? Legislature's majority NPP whereas the Executive PDP.

To the extreme that he baptized his son Federico but together with the name of Rafael as a tribute to the Fmr. Governor. He never stepped inside of a Court room before his appointment. People say that when his appointment was announced to the press, that was the very first time Puerto Rico experienced a minor earthquake.
